logrotate auf lzma umstellen

Gentoo:
euse --enable lzma; emerge -uDN world
Debian / Ubuntu:
aptitude install lzma
dann folgendes in der /etc/logrotate.conf einfügen:
compress
compresscmd /usr/bin/lzma
uncompresscmd /usr/bin/unlzma
compressext .lzma
zum schluss noch alte .gz Logfiles entsorgen. Fertig.
